FAQs

Below you'll find answers to the questions we get asked the most about our ceilidhs, events and operations.

Can I just turn up, or do I have to book?

Yes, you can pay at the door, but to ensure we can plan our night of dancing we prefer you book in advance. We do cancel ceilidhs if we have limited numbers so don't leave yourself disappointed by not booking in advance.

Are ceilidhs ever cancelled?

Yes, to ensure the quality of experience we need up to 30 dancers minimum, so we advise you book in advance or get in touch with us using the contact form or contacting us via our Facebook page.

Are the ceilidhs in English?

In short, yes. Thought our expert guides and band members have Scottish accents ;-)

I have mobility issues. Are the ceilidhs suitable for me?

Contact us via the contact form at the bottom of the page and we will do our best to advise how suitable the ceilidh may be.

Can I consume alcohol in the venue?

Yes, our venue has an alcohol license and bars available to all guests. We want everyone to have fun, so we reserve the right to exclude anyone who is under the influence of drink or drugs or whose behaviour is spoiling other guests’ enjoyment of the tours.

Can I smoke?

In Scotland, smoking is illegal in public premises. You can smoke in the street outside the venue.

Do you have WiFi?

Yes, we provide a next generation non-intrusive Wi-Fi marketing solution giving your users the onboarding experience. Simply swipe through our beautifully displayed content cards to access our wifi. No more passwords or data collection!

Is there are dress code?

No dress code, but we love to see guests wearing kilts, tartan or Highland dress.

What is your cancellation policy?

If you have to cancel a place on the tour for whatever reason then we will give you a full refund if you cancel 24 hours before the booking.

Do you do any special requests?

Yes, if you have a special occasion that you wish to celebrate or a group wish to organise something please get in touch with us via email and we will try our very best to accommodate.
