Whisky Tasting Notes
Aberlour
Balvenie
The distillery shares the same (massive) site with Glenfiddich and is one of only a handful of distilerries that have their own malting floor. The barley is still turned by hand on site. A beautiful smooth malt.
Glenmorangie
One of the biggest selling malts in Scotland, it loans it's casks to Jack Daniels for 4 years before using them.
Glenfiddich
World's biggest selling malt, Glenfiddich was a trail blazer as it started to brand single malt whisky whilst others were still producing blends. The stag emblem represents 'Fiddich' the Valley of the Stags which the water source runs through.
Macallan
A big contributor to the blended Scotch whisky, The Famous Grouse. It is also a collector's delight with a huge range of aged whiskies and limited editions.
