Recycle, Reuse and Repurpose
“repurposed all our plastic bottles … into protection for our seedlings”
If you are reading this there is probably no doubt you already do this which is why I did not put it at the top of the list. However, with there are new challenges with Covid-19 as some recycling services have stopped and all rubbish is now going to landfill.
If you can try and store your cans and plastic to be recycled later. Paper and cardboard are obviously going to break down much quicker and easier so are probably not the priority to store if you do not have much space.
Repurposing comes into its own this year to help resolve these issues. We are growing more of our own food this year and we have repurposed all our plastic bottles and containers such as yoghurt pots into protection for our seedlings to keep the mice and pigeons away!
